July/August 2010 Report:
“July and August’s salaries in the contract market have remained steady and consistant with the previous months, despite the reduced number of contract vacancies. With regards to permanent salaries we have seen a decrease in the salaries of the top paying management and director positions throughout the UK. This is most likely due to the ‘somewhat’ improving economy and more candidates prepared to move. With more candidates applying for these highly sort after management and director positions, employers have been able to negotiate better terms for themselves.”
