| Job Information | Quality and Business Systems Improvement Manager sought in Hertfordshire. Our client has a vacancy for a Quality and Business Systems Improvement Manager to join a team in Hertfordshire. They are looking for someone trained to Black Belt level ideally with a degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or other similar level discipline. It also appears that someone from an automotive/manufacturing industry background may be suitable. The main purpose of this role is to develop, deliver and sustain new business improvement systems, processes, methods and tools to enhance business performance and customer value. You will be responsible for leading the delivery of key business improvement programs . Current programs include new product development and introduction; integrated problem solving; regional quality systems and iCat information management / collaboration environment. You will be involved in all aspects, from the initial program scoping through to launch across multiple sites; sustaining improvements over time; transferring learning and managing the change and adoption across the business. An intrinsic part of these programs will be to build capability across the business in these new methods through the design and delivery of training and coaching programs. You will also have the opportunity to apply the structured improvement methods through leading teams to deliver high impact improvement and critical problem solving projects. Successful candidates should have a technical degree (or equivalent); be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and have a proven track record of successfully driving performance and change. The role requires a strong customer focus together with excellent program management skills and a flexible, multi-tasking approach to ensure that customer and business priorities are met in a timely fashion. With a strong team focus you will have the ability to communicate with people throughout the business, manage change and enjoy working as part of a team as well as working independently when required. |
