Job Title: Auditor

Department: Operations

Location: Dependent on Client requirements                                                  
 
Summary:
The purpose of this role is to audit client data by performing the following duties.  You will be responsible for ensuring that you are consistently achieving set targets and working to set policies and procedures when reviewing supplier accounts and recovering monies on the client’s behalf.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Provide recovery audit services to clients of unparalleled quality
Perform recovery audits on clients supplier accounts &:Identify: Using the Audit Tools and methodologies, review accounts   and identify potential recoveries
Validate: Using the information sources available to you, validate the recoveries identified to ensure that they have adequate supporting evidence and recovery integrity

Recover: Using the revenue recognition policy and client policies and procedures, obtain written agreement from the clients supplier and process the payment of the monies outstanding to provide financial benefit to the client

Audits with limited supervision
Understands and manipulates client electronic data
Performs quality control for less experienced auditors
Maintain quality standards within the audit environment
At times to undertake responsibility of training and developing staff auditors within the audit, assisting with recruitment, performance management, on-job training, staff development, and staff appraisals.
To provide advisory assistance to the administration function
Educational & Personal Requirements

Excellent understanding of the business processes and principles used in accounting transactions, including systems, documentation and industry variations

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent telephone manner

Highly numerate and concise
Strong team player

Strong leadership and team development qualities

Ability to demonstrate pro-activity, initiative and creativity

Excellent IT knowledge and working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Accounting qualifications or Business related degree

Experience

Minimum of 3 years professional business experience in Accounting/Auditing related work.
